Years ago my friends were a bit wilder than the ones I have now. I still have some of the same friends, but they have definitely settled a bit. Back when we first met, things were out of control and unpredictable, as things usually are in your late teens and early twenties. In fact, it is almost guaranteed you will. If anything, try non piercing body jewelry first and you may find that you don’t need the hole as long as you can have the look.

Because non piercing body jewelry is non invasive, it is so much safer. You don’t have to have a needle you aren’t sure of pushed through your skin, and you don’t have to worry about letting it heal. Infection is almost a concern, and you don’t have to worry about a hole when you are sick of the look. Non piercing body jewelry might not work for a tongue ring, however, so if you want one of these, just give it a little thought before you proceed.
