Where To Find The Best Pendant Jewelry
The neat thing about pendant jewelry is that there are so many different items available, and that many of them are so cheap. If someone wants to sell you, say, a silver necklace, they will try to get as much money as possible out of it, even though it is simply a silver chain with a relatively simple silver ornament hanging from it. But, for some reason, if someone is selling you jewelery pendants instead, they are unlikely to charge nearly as much for it. So you can assemble the same pendant jewelry for a fraction of the price if you are only willing to go out and buy the jewelery pendant in one place and the silver chain in the other.
I think it has to do with what people are willing to pay. Its a basic supply and demand thing, really. Many people want completed pendant jewelry – that is, an already fully assembled necklace that looks nice as is, and is ready to give as a gift. These people are willing to pay a lot of money for their jewelery necklaces – indeed, they practically expect to, and would be suspicious if it was not pricey. But the people who buy charms to assemble their own pendant jewelry are not out there looking for the perfect necklace to spend a lot of money on to give to their love. Instead, they want simply to find some kind of neat, funky little jewelery pendant things that they can string together into their own necklace. They want bargains, and they are in no hurry, so the people selling pendant jewelry have to be willing to sell for less. After all, the purchasers are always willing to get their pendant jewelry at the thrift store instead.
I have been making my own pendant jewelry as presents for friends and family, as well as for my own fashion accessories, for some time now, and I must say that I really love the experience. Making pendant jewelry is really much the same feeling as hunting in the dentist's treasure chest when you are a kid. You are about to get some really neat surprise, and you never know quite what it will be ahead of time. The best is when you come up with something that you know that no one else would have thought of before. Then you have truly unique pendant jewelry!
